Weyerhaeuser's engineered lumber facility in Buckhannon, WV is seeking skilled Industrial Mechanics with comprehensive knowledge of mechanical equipment to repair, modify, install, and maintain high-tech lumber manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities

• Perform machinery lubrication and other preventative maintenance assignments.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanically powered equipment.
• Install and align bearing, shaft, coupling, belt, sprocket, and chain drive systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Engage in metal fabrication.
• Perform troubleshooting and have exposure to industrial electricity and controls.

Requirements

• High school education or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five years' experience in Industrial Mechanical work.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform essential physical functions of the position.
• Ability to work in elevated and low temperatures throughout the plant.
• Willingness to fit test and wear a respirator as required.
• Commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience.
• Knowledge and experience with metal fabrication and cylinder repair.
• Ability to perform welding and precision alignment.
• Good working knowledge of basic industrial electricity issues.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment examination, drug test, and background check.
