Overview

The Part-Time Welding Instructor position at Umpqua Community College is a pooled role where applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. The instructor will provide hands-on training and virtual welding practice to students in a supportive and innovative educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent education to welding students through hands-on training.
• Conduct virtual welding practice and in-person instruction.
• Collaborate with a team of trainers and coordinators.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in a related subject required, Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of verifiable related job experience in teaching and/or Journeyman status in related industries.
• Current or expired welding certifications from the American Welding Society (AWS) as a certified welder.
