Overview
The Robotic Weld Cell Programmer-Integrator role at PrideStaff involves working in a small manufacturing team in Akron, OH, focusing on programming and integrating robotic welding systems while ensuring quality and efficiency in operations.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and calibrate projection welders and robotic welding arms.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
- Replace parts, tools, and related equipment as needed.
- Run machine test cycles and verify results with torque and push/destruct tests.
- Assist with general labor, machine operation, rework, MIG welding, and shipping/receiving.
- Embrace cross-training and provide support where needed.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience as a welding technician with programming exposure.
- Blueprint literacy and MIG hand-welding experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with welding codes.
- Knowledge of machine programming and production setups.
- Capability to operate a forklift as needed.
- Background with Lincoln Electric, Motoman, or Yaskawa welding equipment.
