At Siemens Mobility in Lexington, NC, the Rolling Stock Division focuses on manufacturing rail vehicles, combining excellence with digital innovation. As a Production Welder I, you will work in a high-energy environment to assemble carbon steel and stainless-steel structures for trains.

Responsibilities

• Join, align, and assemble carbody structures using welding techniques.
• Translate blueprints, parts lists, sketches, and verbal direction into precise welds.
• Fabricate routine welded pieces with accuracy.
• Execute visual inspections and follow quality checkpoints.

Requirements

• High school diploma or state-recognized GED.
• Practical welding test required for all applicants.
• Preferred experience using torch and plasma tools.
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings and confirm dimensions.
• Basic English communication skills.
