Overview
Join ATS as a Lead Mechatronics Reliability Technician to enhance equipment reliability, drive continuous improvement, and mentor the next generation of technicians. This role combines technical expertise with data-driven insights to prevent equipment failures.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems.
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize complex control architectures.
- Utilize various testing methods to assess equipment condition and implement proactive maintenance.
- Lead continuous improvement events and apply CI tools for measurable results.
- Identify and procure parts and recommend engineered solutions for reliability.
- Uphold industry benchmarks and maintain 5S standards.
- Operate metalworking tools and perform welding as needed.
- Research and document emerging tools and techniques for innovation.
- Provide inputs for equipment justifications and repair proposals.
- Maintain accurate records and analyze trends for maintenance planning.
- Supply technical content for sales quotations and complete T&M assignments.
- Train and coach less experienced technicians and manage projects as assigned.
- Follow safety policies and address unsafe conditions immediately.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Associate degree with a technical concentration and 7+ years of related industry experience, or 10+ years of industry experience.
- Proficiency with predictive technologies, precision alignments, and process equipment maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
- Ability to use hand and specialty tools and willingness to travel when needed.
- Six Sigma experience preferred.

Additional Information
