Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join a growing manufacturing team in Stark County. This role involves setting up, assembling, and welding a variety of metal alloys to precise specifications and drawings, with a focus on producing high-quality work in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, brazing, and other welding processes on steel, stainless steel, copper, and other alloys.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Fabricate and assemble custom weldments and fixtures.
• Set up and monitor welding equipment for proper operation.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and structural integrity.
• Grind, deburr, and finish materials as needed.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Follow ASME standards and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Welding training from an accredited welding program preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Capability to pass ASME 6G weld certification.
• Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred.
• ASME welding experience and certifications are a plus.
