Overview
Bausch + Lomb is a leading global eye health company dedicated to protecting and enhancing sight for millions. The Maintenance Technician II role involves performing facility repairs and maintaining production equipment, providing 24/7 coverage.
Responsibilities
- Process daily work orders and perform upgrades of facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair control cabinets, variable frequency drives, and main electrical distribution panels.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM’s) as assigned on scheduled equipment.
- Assist Utility Department in general repairs and passivation’s.
- Maintain GMP and SOP training compliance.
- Support engineering projects.
- Maintain GMP and safety compliance.
- Follow procedures and maintain compliance within the respective areas.
- Abide by LOTO, PPE and good housekeeping procedures.
- Repair machine parts using general machine shop equipment.
- Work in confined spaces as required.
- Achieve respirator qualification and aseptic environment capability.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience for controls and electrical.
- Minimum of 5 years applicable industry experience or technical training.
- Logical approach to troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment.
- Good organizational skills, able to work quickly and under pressure.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and quality conscious.
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Ability to use general tools (hand tools, electrical tools, measuring tools, etc.).
- Ability to operate lathe and milling machine (preferred).

- This position is a weekend coverage position.
- Location: Tampa, FL.
- Training provided for respirator qualification and aseptic environment.
