Overview

Flexx Workforce is currently hiring an experienced Structural Fitter for upcoming industrial and marine projects. This role is focused on fitting structural steel components and requires dependable tradesmen with experience in shipyards, fabrication shops, or heavy industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications
• Measure, layout, and fit structural steel components
• Assemble beams, plates, and structural assemblies to spec
• Tack weld components for final welding
• Use grinders, torches, hand tools, and measuring instruments
• Work alongside welders and other trades
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all job site safety standards and procedures

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of structural fitting experience (NOT pipe fitting)
• Strong blueprint reading skills (structural drawings)
• Experience in shipyard, fabrication shop, or industrial setting preferred
• Ability to pass drug screening
• Ability to pass background check (if required)
• Ability to pass physical / fit-for-duty screening
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation
