Responsibilities

• Perform skilled welding and pipefitting work in water system construction and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or GED/equivalent.
• Five (5) years of journey level welding experience.
• Journey level knowledge of water distribution and transmission pipelines.
• Valid California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Water Distribution Operator Grade 1 certificate.
• Valid California Class 'C' driver's license.
• Obtain and maintain an AWS 6G pipe welding certificate within twelve (12) months after appointment.
