Overview

HiFyve is hiring for Industrial Electricians in Shawnee, OK. The Electrician will maintain and repair electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation in copper tube, coil, casting, and winding operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, panel boards, motor controls, disconnects, MCCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and distribution systems.
• Diagnose electrical failures in coiler, winder, tube forming machines, presses, and melting/casting equipment.
• Work with control systems / PLCs / HMI to partner with Electrical Technicians and Automation specialists when needed to adjust control parameters or fix interface issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on wiring, connectors, grounding, safety interlocks, emergency stops.
• Assist with installation of new electrical equipment: feeders, bypasses, safety systems.
• Perform wiring and schematic revisions.
• Support start-ups, shutdowns, and emergency breakdowns; ensure minimal disruption in production.
• Maintain compliance with NEC, OSHA, NFPA, and other relevant electrical and safety regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Journeyman electrician certification or equivalent trade school/technical college for electricians highly preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience in manufacturing or metalworking environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, VFDs, motor starters, control logic.
• Experience working with PLC/HMI interfaces is a plus.
• Good safety record; experience working under lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Solid problem-solving skills, ability to work independently or in a team, and physical ability to work in an industrial environment.

Additional Information

• 2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm
• 3rd Shift: 11pm-7am
• Pay very much depends on experience & skills: $25/hr. - $35/hr.
