Overview
Anchor Talent has partnered with a global manufacturer to recruit a Welder. This role is part of an integral production team responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing components used in industrial trucks and heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on structural components and assemblies
- Assemble metal parts and subassemblies according to blueprints and work instructions
- Read and interpret technical drawings, weld symbols, and specifications
- Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, saws, and other shop tools
- Inspect welds and finished components to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform rework, grinding, and finishing as needed
- Support production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of MIG welding and/or fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
- Experience using measuring tools (tape measure, square, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) preferred
- Experience in industrial or heavy equipment manufacturing
- Ability to work with thicker gauge materials and structural welds
