Overview

Clover Park Technical College is seeking Upholstery Substitute Instructors to maintain a professional and safe classroom environment while focusing on student success and lifelong learning. Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage classroom environment, equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of professionalism and mutual respect with students.
• Maintain a safe environment through instruction and college policy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to five years experience in upholstery.
• Familiarity with furniture and/or automotive upholstery practices.
• Knowledge of Pfaff and Juki sewing machines.
• Customer service or public speaking skills.

Additional Information

• This position's duties are performed in person on the Lakewood campus.
• This position is represented by the Clover Park Federation of Teachers, Local 3913, AFT/ AFT Washington.
