Overview

The Fabricator I position is a temp to hire role based in Houston, TX, responsible for the fabrication of commercial aluminum doors and frames using various industrial tools. The role requires attention to detail, safety engagement, and the ability to follow directions to ensure timely production.

Responsibilities

• Measure aluminum extrusions for fabrication.
• Assemble cut aluminum and hardware into doors and frames.
• Check material against orders and visually inspect incoming materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Engage in safety practices for self and others.
• Produce quality products with attention to detail.
• Ensure orders meet internal schedules for timely delivery.
• Follow directions from manager and functional lead.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of fabrication or construction experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use power tools including electrical, hydraulic, and air-powered industrial machines.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Information

• Temp to hire position.
• Pay rate: $19 per hour.
• Shift timing: 6 am - 2:30 PM M-F.
