Overview

AGC Heat Transfer is seeking an Entry-Level CNC Operator for their Day Shift in Fairview, OR. The company is a leading OEM of sanitary plate heat exchangers in North America and is committed to investing in its employees while providing a safe and innovative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials; perform basic machine setups.
• Start, stop, and monitor CNC machines under supervision.
• Watch for tool wear, part defects, or machine errors.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools.
• Document inspection results and report deviations.
• Handle raw materials and finished parts safely.
• Communicate with your team and support shop workflow.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred).
• Ability to read simple drawings.
• Basic shop math (geometry, trigonometry, feed/speed calculations).
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment.
• Willingness to learn and be coachable.

Additional Information
