Overview

AGC Heat Transfer, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level CNC Operator for the swing shift at their Fairview, OR facility. This position offers training and opportunities for advancement in a hands-on manufacturing career with a focus on craftsmanship, safety, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials; perform basic machine setups
• Start, stop, and monitor CNC machines under supervision
• Watch for tool wear, part defects, or machine errors
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
• Document inspection results and report deviations
• Handle raw materials and finished parts safely
• Communicate with your team and support shop workflow
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred)
• Ability to read simple drawings
• Basic shop math (geometry, trigonometry, feed/speed calculations)
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment
• Willingness to learn and be coachable

Additional Information

• Training: Day shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• After training: Swing shift, Mon–Thu, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM (4 - 10 hour shifts)
• Reliable attendance is essential.
