Overview
Leonhardt Manufacturing is hiring welders for 1st and 2nd shifts to perform MIG welding from blueprints and work orders, producing parts in various types of steel while maintaining quality and output.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding based on blueprints, work instructions, and production requirements
- Set up components and fixtures for welding
- Weld galvanized, aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel
- Inspect welds for quality, consistency, and conformance to specifications
- Grind, sand, and finish welds as needed
- Support inspection processes (visual, leak testing, etc.)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Contribute to daily production and quality goals
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- 1+ years' experience with MIG welding required
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacturing
- Ability to identify and measure material
- Ability to produce quality products consistently
- Willingness to learn and work to the best of abilities and a dependable work ethic
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures and angle gauges
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Additional Information
- 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
- Additional schedules may include shifts covering Fridays and/or weekends based on production needs
- This is not a rotating schedule; you will be assigned to one consistent shift
