Overview

Digifabshop is a digital fabrication shop specializing in custom architectural interiors and fine art fabrication. They are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join their team, responsible for the cutting, bending, welding, and grinding of various metals to meet the shop's fabrication requirements.

Responsibilities

• Use TIG and MIG welding processes to join metal stock.
• Use Oxy-Acetylene torch for custom bends in metal stock.
• Cut metal stock using band saw, cold saw, and other saws.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
• Perform secondary processes including degreasing, deburring, grinding, and finishing.
• Tap and drill metal with hand and power tools.
• Assemble and fasten fabricated and welded metal parts.
• Inspect outgoing metalwork for quality.
• Monitor machine performance and conduct quality checks.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
• Adhere to safety protocols and report safety issues.
• Maintain accurate records of machine settings and production data.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.

Additional Information

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
