Overview

The Experience Senior Living Team is looking for an Environmental Services Associate to join their dynamic group of professionals dedicated to empowering older adults to live life to the fullest. The role involves various housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Cleans public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture and common areas.
• Distributes laundered articles and linens.
• Replaces and hangs draperies.
• Changes beds.
• Cleans public restrooms and replenishes supplies as needed.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors; cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Washes, dries and irons resident laundry and community linens and textiles.
• Folds and/or hangs laundry appropriately.
• Maintains resident laundry areas including mopping floors and washing walls regularly.
• Washes windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested.
• Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
• Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies.
• Stocks cleaning cart with supplies.
• Empties wastebaskets, and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Ensures with maintenance that trash and dumpster areas are clean.
• Completes maintenance work orders for any maintenance repairs needed.
• Reports resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.
• Reports potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance related issues promptly to Supervisor.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

• Appearance is neat, clean, and according to dress code.
• Observes safety and security procedures.
• Uses equipment and materials properly.
• Ability to work varied schedules to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
