Overview
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and repairing various types of machinery, including Automatic, Robotic, and CNC systems. This role involves supporting equipment operations and continuous improvement activities.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, install, and repair Automatic, Robotic, and CNC machinery.
- Repair Automated Paint Lines, Setting Presses, Automated Welders, CNC Grinders, Robots, and other complex machinery.
- Support all aspects of equipment and machinery, including PLC programming and program modifications.
- Jog and reset Fanuc and Denso Robots.
- Teach and touch up Robot positions to correct material handling paths.
- Plan and install primary and secondary controls, diagnose electrical/electronic problems, and replace or repair parts.
- Detect and replace defective control modules and test units for proper function.
- Prepare wiring diagrams to record changes.
- Make mechanical repairs as necessary.
- Support daily continuous improvement activities.
- Enter all work completed/in progress into SAP work order system.
- Perform any other duties as deemed necessary to support production.
