Overview

The Airport Lounge Cleaner is responsible for performing a full range of cleaning duties to maintain the lounge operations at The Club lounge in San Francisco International Airport, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with sanitation regulations. Hyde Park Hospitality is a dynamic and fast-growing company in the food business, providing various services including airport concessions and facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and break rooms.
• Assist with clearing tables of dirty dishes and cleaning tables.
• Restock beverage stations.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
• Empty wastebaskets and recyclables and transport to designated disposal areas.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors in restrooms.
• Replenish restroom supplies and polish metalwork including fixtures and fittings.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; additional floor work may be required.
• Wash walls and woodwork, clean windows, door panels, partitions, and windowsills.
• Notify supervisor concerning any need for maintenance repairs or additions.
• Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, equipment, and partitions.
• Stand during the entire scheduled shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the housekeeping/janitorial field.
• Ability to maintain a presentable and polished appearance.
• Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced work shift up to ten hours.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
• Report on work on a regular and timely basis.
• Adhere to all local and state health department guidelines.
• Able to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass and obtain security background check and clearance to work in the airport environment.
