Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Welder to join our team as a Weld Inspector in Chester, PA. The role involves performing welding operations, conducting quality inspections, and collaborating with team members to ensure project completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations according to specifications and blueprints
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet standards and specifications
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and alignment
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and ensure timely completion of projects
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
• Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• AWS B5.2 certification required
• Familiar with AS9100 standards
• HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
• QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control)
• Quality control procedures and techniques
• Fabrication skills
• Quality audits
• Coordinate measuring machine (CMM) operation
• Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.)
• CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice)
• Precision measuring instruments
• Quality inspection techniques
