Overview

The Custom Door Fabricator position at Trulite involves fabricating custom doors by cutting aluminum stock and attaching hardware, while ensuring a safe and clean work environment. The company offers comprehensive benefits starting on day one, including health insurance and a 401k plan.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates cut aluminum stock using drills and other tools.
• Attaches hardware as appropriate.
• Cuts aluminum stock with saw as needed.
• Keeps work area in a neat, safe, clean, hazard-free condition.
• Cleans work area, tools, and equipment at the end of each day.
• Inspects products for any abnormalities and notifies supervisor immediately of any issues.
• Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed.
• Works as part of a team.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance and ability to safely perform tasks.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
• Follows all company rules and policies.
• Demonstrates a history of great work attendance.
• Exhibits a sense of urgency with the ability to advance in the organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Proficiency in operating machinery.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to use power tools.
• Previous custom door experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 to 75 lbs. unassisted.
• Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
• Must be able to push weights greater than 150 lbs with a team.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must have strong hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to follow instructions from Supervisor, Plant Manager, and Branch Manager.
