Job Description
Overview
The Production MIG Welder position involves MIG welding primarily on galvanized steel, requiring at least one year of experience and the ability to read blueprints and perform heavy lifting. Responsibilities
- MIG welding primarily on galvanized steel.
- Working independently from blueprints to meet tight specifications.
- Welding in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
- Lifting heavy steel parts weighing between 20 to 60 lbs.
- Tackling a variety of builds, not just repetitive welding tasks.
Requirements
- Trade School Certificate OR AWS Certification OR D1.1 OR D1.4 (Structural Welding).
- MIG Welding Experience with at least 1 year of experience.
- Ability to read English work orders, instructions, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of 20 to 60 lbs.
