Overview

At Nucor Rebar Fabrication, a Rebar Fabricator (Production Worker) is responsible for bending, cutting, bundling, and loading reinforcing steel to meet customer orders. This is hands-on, physical work that plays a key role in building America’s infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Bend, cut, bundle, and load reinforcing steel to meet customer orders.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely.
• Work outdoors in various conditions.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Must be age 18 or over.
• Must pass a background check and drug test, including THC.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
• Able to read and comprehend basic safety and operational instructions.
• Able to perform basic math for accurate bar measurements.
• Some heavy lifting may be necessary.
• Comfortable working in noisy, dusty, hot, or cold conditions.
