Mayer Designs, Inc. is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join their small team of master fabricators who create custom high-end wood and metal furniture and architectural elements for discerning clients. This full-time position offers a long-term opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who values modern design and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality furniture and architectural elements.
• Perform TIG/MIG welding and custom fabrication.
• Deliver expert grinding and finishing to meet furniture-grade standards.
• Interpret architectural blueprints and shop drawings.
• Utilize a wide range of shop tools and machinery.
• Handle physical tasks including precision welding, finishing, assembly, and onsite installations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of TIG/MIG welding and custom fabrication experience.
• Exceptional TIG welding skills across multiple alloys.
• Strong understanding of architectural blueprints and shop drawings.
• Proficiency with a wide range of shop tools and machinery.
• Physical strength to handle 100+ lbs.
• Detail-oriented, reliable team player with excellent problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

• Full-time, long-term position – Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
• 3-month trial period before full benefits.
