Terex Utilities is seeking a Weekend Welder in Huron, SD, to join a vibrant and inclusive work culture dedicated to quality and innovation. The role involves operating various welding machines and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
• Operate various types of welding machines on different materials
• Use stationary and/or portable grinders and pneumatic chipping hammers
• Operate material handling equipment to move parts and materials
• Read and interpret blueprints and work from drawings
• Comply with TEREX Utilities quality standards
• Follow and promote The Terex Way Values
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements
• Perform other functions as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma and/or equivalent experience
• 0-2 years of manufacturing experience
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and 40-100 lbs. with assistance
• Possess good mechanical aptitude
• Capable of using most hand tools
• Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
• Recognize potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings
• Function as a team member and contribute to group goals
• Ability to safely operate welding equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes
