PLATER / WELDER – Temp 1 Month

We are recruiting for an experienced Plater/ Welder to work for our client who are located in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A PLATER / WELDER:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings.

• This is a temp role for one month – may be extended.

• Mark out, cut, and prepare heavy steel plate for fabrication using tools such as plasma cutters and grinders.

• Inspect and check completed work to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.

• Collaborate with welders, machinists, and other workshop personnel to meet production deadlines.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

• Minimum 4 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background

• Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS

· Standard working hours: 40 hours per week 8:00am - 4:30pm Can be flexible if needed.

THE PAY

You will earn an hourly rate between £14 - £18 an hour depending on experience.
