Job Description
Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced MIG Welder (pulse) for a temporary position through mid-August, with the possibility of leading to full-time employment. The position is located on the northeast side of Des Moines.
Responsibilities
- Set up welding machines based on specifications.
- Ability to interpret blueprints.
- Interpreting blueprints and fabricating (welding) from the blueprint and parts.
Requirements
- Ability to read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch.
- Minimum 6 months to 2 years experience with MIG and/or TIG welding of steel, aluminum, or stainless steel.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds.

Additional Information
- Starting pay is $18.00-$19.00+ per hour, depending on experience.
- Work hours are 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, and 6:00am-Noon Friday when overtime is needed.
- Welder’s helmet supplied by associates, all other PPEs supplied by the company.
