Responsibilities

• Supervise daily metal fabrication shop operations and team activities.
• Oversee welding, fabrication, grinding, layout, and finishing processes.
• Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout production.
• Coordinate project schedules, deliveries, and workflow with internal teams and subcontractors.
• Train and guide fabrication staff on shop procedures and safety practices.
• Monitor and maintain fabrication equipment and shop tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Support inventory handling and forklift operations as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in metal fabrication, welding, and metalworking.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication layout techniques.
• Experience using shop equipment and power tools.
• Experience with grinding and surface finishing.
• Knowledge of forklift operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Computer skills including Word, Excel, Email, PDF, DWF, and CAD.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a fabrication environment preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
