Overview

The Maintenance Technician role in Houston, TX, offers a hands-on maintenance position with a clear path into production leadership. The job involves troubleshooting and repairing various systems and equipment while providing opportunities for growth into leadership roles within the plant.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, hoses, and valves.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, relays, and fuses.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatics and basic electrical systems.
• Work directly on roll forming equipment.
• Work directly on stamping operations.
• Work directly on powder coating lines including conveyors, ovens, and wash systems.
• Handle changeovers including fixtures, tooling, bolts, and mechanical adjustments.
• Read prints and diagnose issues using a multimeter.
• Support robotic welders with basic adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Identify problems, fix them, and keep production moving.

Requirements

• Industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with a hydraulics and fabrication mindset.
• Ability to read prints and troubleshoot with a multimeter.
• Basic electrical knowledge including panels, motors, relays, and drives.
• Some pneumatics experience.
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Desire to grow into leadership.
