Overview
The Maintenance Technician role in Houston, TX, offers a hands-on maintenance position with a clear path into production leadership. The job involves troubleshooting and repairing various systems and equipment while providing opportunities for growth into leadership roles within the plant.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, hoses, and valves.
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, relays, and fuses.
- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatics and basic electrical systems.
- Work directly on roll forming equipment.
- Work directly on stamping operations.
- Work directly on powder coating lines including conveyors, ovens, and wash systems.
- Handle changeovers including fixtures, tooling, bolts, and mechanical adjustments.
- Read prints and diagnose issues using a multimeter.
- Support robotic welders with basic adjustments and troubleshooting.
- Identify problems, fix them, and keep production moving.
Requirements
- Industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with a hydraulics and fabrication mindset.
- Ability to read prints and troubleshoot with a multimeter.
- Basic electrical knowledge including panels, motors, relays, and drives.
- Some pneumatics experience.
- Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
- Desire to grow into leadership.
