Overview

The Maintenance Technician performs troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance on various types of presses, conveyors, and other associated equipment. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively within the company.

Responsibilities

• Performs emergency/unscheduled repairs on all production equipment.
• Reads and interprets equipment prints/manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance repairs and service.
• Performs all scheduled preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Performs all lubrication and filtration duties on all equipment assigned.
• Performs project maintenance as assigned.
• Communicates at all levels within the company.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and related technical training.
• Minimum of five (5) years On the Job maintenance training and experience in a factory equipment environment.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and some electrical applications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals and work orders.
• Must be able to use measuring equipment, welders and have own hand tools.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others and work independently.
• Consistently exhibit appropriate attendance habits.
• Heavy press equipment experience is a plus.
