Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain operations/production equipment.
• Request support from other Maintenance Techs and Maintenance Managers as necessary.
• Safely perform maintenance tasks using basic hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with production welders, torches, saws, and metal finishing equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and install production hoists.
• Resolve issues with overhead roll doors throughout the facility.
• Perform maintenance electrical tasks, including troubleshooting circuits.
• Perform maintenance mechanical tasks, including troubleshooting and rebuild.
• Implement and sustain good housekeeping practices and 5s standards.
• Observe all safety rules and policies.
• Demonstrate basic computer, reading/writing, and communication skills.
• Execute work from daily schedule and perform preventative maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience/Education in machine operation and repair preferred.
• Welding competency and knowledge of welding systems preferred.
• Lift Truck Operators License preferred (training available).
• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must be able to read and process written communication.
• Must be able to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must demonstrate understanding of machine operation and repair techniques.
• Must be able to operate appropriate equipment including repair tooling and devices.
• Must be able to physically lift and maneuver weights in excess of fifty pounds.

Additional Information

• This is a full-time hourly position.
• Monday - Thursday 1st shift with some Fridays if needed.
• Travel to secure necessary parts or tooling.
