Overview

Ichor Systems Inc. is seeking a Welder for weekend day shifts, responsible for programming and operating various welding machines, including TIG and orbital welding of stainless steel and high purity materials. The role requires collaboration with engineering and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and run various welding machines including hand welding and TIG welding.
• Perform mechanical set-ups and changeovers for all welding operations.
• Execute Ichor’s Standard Operating Procedures related to manufacturing duties.
• Study prints, drawings, and specifications to complete finished welds.
• Use approved hand gauges to inspect component quality.
• Work as a team member to maintain departmental standards.
• Process and inspect work according to prints.
• Perform a sequence of operations while maintaining quality and quantity.
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop advanced welding processes.
• Understand and execute Ichor’s safety rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Basic PC skills for manufacturing.
• Experience working in a high-purity clean room environment.
• Certification in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing preferred.
• Aptitude or understanding of products, systems, and UHP industry.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Successful completion of a 2-year professional trade program in Welding Technology or equivalent, or currently enrolled in such a program.
• Basic math, blueprint reading, and weld to print skills.
• 3+ years’ work experience performing TIG welding of stainless steel or less experience with a Welding technology degree.
