Overview

Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, is a leader in power distribution and protection systems, specializing in customized, turn-key solutions. They are seeking a Shop Helper in Dallas, Texas to assist with the fabrication of materials and support production operations.

Responsibilities

• Cut material in preparation for fabrication or processing.
• Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter using hand scrapers or power chippers.
• Assist machine operators with loading and unloading items from machines.
• Assist welders with structural welds by holding materials in place.
• Transfer raw materials, finished products, tools, or equipment between work areas using powered equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or related field.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management.
