Overview

C&C Boiler Sales & Service, Inc. is seeking a skilled and safety-minded Industrial Boiler Mechanic with experience in boiler system installation, welding, refractory repair, and industrial mechanical work. The position involves hands-on work both in the shop and on customer job sites, focusing on installation, fabrication, pipefitting, boiler re-tubing, refractory replacement, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and secure packaged boilers and other pressure-retaining equipment according to specifications and codes.
• Perform field and shop welding on piping systems and pressure vessels.
• Remove and replace boiler tubes and conduct hydrostatic testing.
• Inspect, remove, and install refractory materials in boilers and related equipment.
• Assemble and install pipe systems, supports, valves, and fittings using technical drawings.
• Assist with ASME/NB repair and alteration projects in compliance with standards.
• Participate in OSHA-mandated safety training and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain a positive attitude while contributing to team goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in welding/fitting and/or boiler/industrial mechanical work.
• Proficient in welding and pipefitting; ability to pass weld tests.
• Working knowledge of boiler system components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and safety documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces.
• Must complete OSHA 10 or 30 and pass a 10-panel drug screen.
• Position requires occasional out-of-town travel and overnight stays.
