Overview
United Trades of America is a trusted name in industrial services, delivering high-quality mechanical and piping solutions across various sectors. They are seeking experienced Industrial Pipefitters to install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using appropriate tools and equipment
- Install and connect pipes to equipment such as pumps, tanks, and valves
- Interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings
- Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing
- Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC, and other industrial piping materials
- Ensure work complies with safety standards, codes, and specifications
- Collaborate with welders, engineers, and other tradespeople on job coordination
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow company safety procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of industrial pipefitting experience preferred
- Proficient in using pipe fabrication tools and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong understanding of piping codes and industry standards (e.g., ASME, OSHA)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Welding certifications or pipefitting apprenticeship completion a plus
- Strong safety mindset and reliable work ethic
