Overview

Global Power Components is a growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, and modular metal enclosures. They are seeking dedicated MIG Welders/Fabricators for stable work with consistent hours and overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Weld I-Beam Frame and Fuel Tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts for welding.
• Position and secure workpieces using hoists, cranes, or hand tools.
• Inspect products/equipment for defects or malfunctions.

Requirements

• Must be able to read measuring devices, such as tape measure.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• GMAW (MIG/MAG) experience preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Must be highly motivated.
• Able to communicate and work well with others.
• Must pay attention to details and have a strong drive to succeed.
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen.
