Overview

HPM Sheet Metal LLC is hiring an experienced Metal Roof Fabricator/Installer for new projects, seeking someone with solid shop fabrication, field installation experience, and welding skills who can hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate gutters, downspouts, scuppers, brackets, gravel guard, saddles, tapered troughs, expansion joints, thru-wall, radius work, overflow conductor boxes.
• Handle roof penetrations including A/C pipe boxes, skirt metal vents, pin-on reglet, sumps, cut-in pitch pans, thru-wall curbs, two-piece equipment supports, roll-off.
• Install counter flashing, copings, and fascia systems.
• Perform other shop work such as A/C pans, grease traps, and louvers.
• Cut, bend, and assemble metal pieces using power tools and welding equipment.
• Read and follow blueprints and fabrication schematics.
• Utilize stick welding and soldering techniques.
• Follow all construction site safety codes and standards.
• Work as part of a team on commercial and industrial roofing projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a metal roof fabrication shop.
• Proficiency in stick welding and soldering.
• Comfortable operating power tools and fabrication equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of job site safety regulations.
• Can work independently and with a team.
• Reliable and detail-oriented.
