Overview
American Trades Contracting is actively seeking a highly skilled 6G Combo Welder to join our growing team. The 6G Combo Welder will be responsible for performing high-quality welds on pipe and structural components using various welding techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform 6G pipe welding using processes such as TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and Stick (SMAW)
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld procedures, and technical drawings
- Ensure welds meet code and client specifications (ASME, API, etc.)
- Conduct proper equipment setup and maintenance
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a 6G Combo Welder
- Ability to pass a 6G weld test (pipe)
- MUST be able to work with Stainless Steel
- MUST be able to excel with 'Tie In' Welds
- Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel if required
- OSHA certification (preferred but not required)
