Warehouse Rack

Overview

Warehouse Rack is a company that buys and sells pallet rack, shelving, and other warehouse equipment. They are seeking welders and fabricators to alter, paint, and repair metal products as they grow quickly and aim to satisfy their clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Fix and create pallet rack uprights and beams with MIG welder
• Fabricate material as needed using saws, torches, and iron worker
• Use a paint gun to paint material
• Keep welding area clean
• Pull orders when not welding
• Rotate floor stock
• Stack and band extra material
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift
• Receive and process shipments
• Follow directions from supervisor
• Perform offsite installation of pallet racking when needed

Requirements

• Welding experience
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to quickly bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with one’s body, arms, and/or legs
• Ability to move one’s hands and arms to grasp or manipulate objects
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work as part of a team

Additional Information

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
• Exposure to loud noise, dust, or wet environment
• Exposure to hazardous conditions (e.g., construction sites, heavy machinery)
• Set schedule (M-F 8am-5pm, one hour lunch)
• No holidays, rare Saturday morning work
