Overview

Join our dynamic construction team as a Shop Fabricator/Delivery Driver, where your energy and precision will drive the success of our construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment that values reliability, safety, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver construction supplies and equipment to multiple job sites.
• Load and unload materials using pallet jacks and manual lifting techniques.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to meet project timelines while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Verify delivery orders, inspect vehicles for maintenance issues, and complete all necessary documentation accurately.
• Assist with warehouse organization by moving inventory as needed and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Communicate effectively with site managers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols during loading, unloading, driving, and delivery processes.

Requirements

• Familiarity with aluminum and glass fabrication a plus.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver within the construction or warehouse industry.
• Proven experience with power tools, miter saws, drill press, and efficient in using a tape measure for layout and fabrication.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and moving tools.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various conditions.
• Excellent route planning skills with a focus on punctuality and efficiency.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving, material handling, and construction sites.
