Overview

Five Twenty Two Industries is a small, high-end Architectural Steel Fabrication company specializing in architectural elements for single-family residences and commercial projects. They are looking for qualified Architectural fabricators who can work independently, read drawings, and help organize and run a small shop.

Responsibilities

• General fabrication including welding, drilling/milling, cutting material, installation, application of patinas, deliveries, and cleaning/maintaining the shop.
• Some basic woodworking.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Independence and ability to take direction.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and work from shop drawings, notes, and verbal instruction.
• Ability to take notes.
• Ability to write up a cut list off shop drawings.
• Experience welding mild steel (solid wire, dual and inner shield) and TIG welding non-ferrous metals.
• Familiarity with mill/drill press/lathe operation.
• Ability to operate a cold saw and band saw and maintain most common shop tools.
• Valid driver's license to drive company trucks.
• Accuracy, consistency, reliability, and punctuality.
• Capability of moving heavy objects and equipment and standing for long periods.
