Location: Pittsburgh, PA Pay: $19–$25/hour based on experience Schedule: 50–60 hours/week Position Type: Project-Based with long-term opportunity potential

TradeWorX is hiring experienced Structural Welders for a long-term fabrication shop opportunity in the Pittsburgh area. This role supports large industrial fabrication projects in a clean, controlled shop environment with steady overtime and long-term potential.

Projects include structural frames, skids, heavy steel assemblies, and industrial support systems used across power generation and manufacturing operations.

Pay & Overtime

$19–$25/hour depending on experience and welding ability Consistent overtime available 50–60 hour workweeks expected Performance-based bonus opportunities may be available

Job Duties

Perform structural welding and fabrication on carbon steel components and heavy plate Weld and assemble structural frames, skids, and fabricated assemblies Read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols Support grinding, fit-up, prep work, and assembly as needed Maintain production pace while following quality and safety standards

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of structural or industrial welding experience Experience working in a fabrication or production shop environment Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with heavy structural steel fabrication Strong fit-up and layout ability Consistent production welding background
