Spherion is hiring a Welder Fabricator in Imperial. The Welder Fabricator position pays $19 to $24 per hour with a 7am to 3:30pm schedule. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

Job Description:

As a Welder Fabricator you will be welding steel products. You would also be using fabrication equipment and performing quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the proper specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Weld steel products to meet specifications in a safe and efficient manner
• Use fabrication equipment such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, and shears
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet proper specifications
• Create and setup work orders
• Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Assist in other areas as neededEducation: High School

• High School Diploma or GEDExperience: 12 months

• AWS B2.1/B21M qualified welder
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, and ERP/SAPPhysical:

• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Standing / Walking
• Repetitive Motion
