Overview
A Fabricator of miscellaneous, architectural, ornamental, structural metals is seeking two Structural Welders with 3+ years of experience in a metal shop environment. The role involves joining metal components to create and maintain durable structures while ensuring safety and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components for structural frameworks.
- Operate tools and equipment, ensuring proper setup and maintenance.
- Inspect and test welds to meet safety standards and design specifications.
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols.
- Conduct regular maintenance of welding equipment and tools.
Requirements
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and familiarity with welding codes and standards.
- Good physical fitness for working in challenging conditions.
- Attention to detail for precision in welding.
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during the welding process.
- 3+ years of experience welding in a machine shop environment.
- H.S. Diploma, GED, or Trade Certificate.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Good communication and organizational skills.

- 1st shift work schedule: Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
