Overview
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for their fabrication shop, Madden Fabrication, located in NW Portland. The role involves working on various projects using blueprints and welding materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, requiring strong fitting skills and proficiency in Flux-Core and TIG welding.
Responsibilities
- Perform Flux-Core and hardwire MIG welding for structural steel projects.
- Fit and fabricate components from blueprints.
- Execute TIG welding on valve gates and specialty projects.
- Work on structural steel columns, beams, stairs, canopies, embeds, access ladders, handrails, grab bars, and more.
Requirements
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Proficiency in Wire-Feed MIG welding.
- Strong fitting and fabrication skills.
- TIG welding skills.
- Self-management abilities.
- Possession of proper tools for the job.
- Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Proficient in using a tape measure and layout tools.
- Valid driver's license and insurability to operate a company vehicle.
- Ability to pass a drug screen.
- Willingness to be clean shaven for a respirator fit test.

Additional Information
