Apply NowDM Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Fabricor to join our maintenance team in Fife, Washington. This role is ideal for candides with experience as a diesel technician, heavy equipment mechanic, or truck fabricor, performing welding, fabricion, and structural repairs on hook trucks, roll-off trucks, garbage trucks, containers, and compactors th support daily operions.We are looking for a hands-on professional who values safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork in a fast-paced shop environment.Pay and ScheduleHourly Wage: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PMTool Allowance: $125 per monthKey ResponsibilitiesPerform fabricion, welding, and structural repairs on hook trucks, roll-off trucks, and other solid waste and heavy-duty vehiclesRepair, reinforce, and modify containers, compactors, and reled equipmentDiagnose and repair metal figue, cracks, and structural damage on truck bodies and equipmentWeld using MIG, TIG, stick, and other methods in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positionsRead and interpret blueprints, schemics, and technical specificionsSelect approprie merials, welding methods, and tools for each jobInspect and test completed work to ensure safety and durabilityMaintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with OSHA and company standardsDocument work performed, parts used, and repair timeCollabore with mechanics and other shop personnel to support fleet uptimeTools and EquipmentCandides are expected to provide a basic set of personal toolsExtensive shop tools and equipment are available on-site for shared useMonthly $125 tool allowance provided to support tool maintenance and growthWorking Conditions and Physical RequirementsFrequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of items over 50 poundsRegular climbing, bending, and working in confined or awkward positionsExposure to moving mechanical parts, noise, vibrion, and outdoor weher conditionsWork is performed both indoors and outdoors, depending on operional needsUse of PPE is required all timesRequired Qualificions3 to 4 years of experience in fabricion, welding, diesel repair, or heavy equipment maintenanceExperience working on trucks, trailers, or heavy industrial equipment strongly preferredProficiency with multiple welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)Ability to opere hand and power tools (saws, grinders, calipers, measuring tools)Valid Washington Ste driver’s licenseCDL is a plusAbility to pass pre-employment screenings (background check, drug test, and motor vehicle report)Ability to communice effectively in English for safe and accure job performanceSafety Sensitive: YesTo be considered for any of our current openings, you must complete an applicion www.careers.wasteconnections.com.
