Overview

Boeing Defense is seeking a Maintenance Plumber/Pipefitter in Ridley Park, PA to join their team. The role involves planning, installing, testing, and repairing various plumbing systems in an industrial plant.

Responsibilities

• Plan, layout, install, test, and repair steam, air, gas, water, oil, gasoline, hydraulic, fire lines, and sanitary plumbing systems.
• Use blueprints and knowledge of plumbing codes to determine pipe routing and fixture locations.
• Braise and solder pipes as needed.
• Prepare materials lists and working sketches for installations.
• Install and repair sanitary plumbing fixtures and pressure systems.
• Diagnose and correct issues in plumbing systems.
• Provide instruction to lower level employees and collaborate with other crafts.
• Perform work in accordance with management instructions and company safety standards.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience installing waste, vent, or plumbing systems.
• 3 or more years of experience with facilities requirements, analysis, planning, design standards and specifications, and building codes.
