Overview

The Boeing Company is seeking a Maintenance Pipefitter/Plumber to join their team in Ridley Park, PA. The role involves planning, installing, and repairing various plumbing systems in an industrial setting while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, layout, install, test, and repair steam, air, gas, water, oil, gasoline, hydraulic, fire lines, and sanitary plumbing systems.
• Use blueprints and specifications to determine pipe routing and locations of plumbing fixtures.
• Braise and solder pipes as required.
• Prepare materials lists and working sketches for installations.
• Install and repair sanitary plumbing fixtures and pressure systems.
• Diagnose and correct issues in plumbing systems.
• Provide instruction to lower level employees and collaborate with other crafts.
• Perform work according to management instructions and company safety standards.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience installing waste, vent, or plumbing systems.
• 3 or more years of experience with facilities requirements, analysis, planning, design standards, and building codes.
