Spherion Staffing is hiring experienced TIG Welders for a machine/ manufacturing shop in Wichita Falls, TX! Working hours are Monday-Friday 8-10 hour shifts, with pay depending on experience.

Responsibilities: Main responsibilities will include interpreting designs, monitoring machinery, and assessing welded components. - Operates both hand and power tools used in fit/weld area - Assemble products with hand, electric, and air powered tools - Expected to perform all quality checks as defined in work order packet, inspecting products using precision measuring equipment, tape measures and visual comparison. - Maintain a safe environment while rigging and moving equipment and/or parts. - Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts. - Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job. - Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Skills: Welding school diploma preferred Knowledge of algebra and geometry is very beneficial Knowledge of welding machinery and electrical equipment Have a steady hand and outstanding attention to detail. Working knowledge of overhead cranes and proper rigging techniques

Education: High School

Experience: 4-7 years

Qualifications: Mig and/or Tig welding work experience and certification Flux Core Wire Welding experience Working knowledge of weld procedures Can read blueprints and measuring tools Ability to pass weld test/ certifications.
